Helen, the icon painting tutor will be on hand to give as much individual tuition as possible and lead the group at Dahab and Monastery. Helen knows the sites to be visited and has had years of experience teaching icon painting to small groups and private students.

The Mount Sinai tour-leader and trained Bedouin guides doubly ensure the well-being and enjoyment of all and are highly experienced in taking small groups into the High Mountain region.

The itinerary is designed to be flexible, with optional activities specifically included to optimise the experience of modern Sinai and enjoyment of the Red Sea.

Icon Adventures aims to be as inclusive as possible and to nourish the Mind, Body and Spirit. Unlike other icon painting courses, we offer a much wider Art Historical perspective, a multicultural focus, exhilarating mountain treks, harmonising yoga classes and the inspiration of the coral reef and desert.

In promoting Responsible Tourism, Icon Adventures aims to avoid the negative impact arising from the huge package tourist industry based at Sharm el Sheikh/Na’ama Bay. Icon Adventures is a small-scale operation which works in association with Bedouin owned-businesses and supports social and eco-based projects in the area.
