Icon Adventures is delighted to offer charming bed and breakfast accommodation at the Coral Coast Hotel, Dahab. Each room has air conditioning, en-suite bathroom, fridge, kettle, and guaranteed sea view. Two evening meals are included, with vegetarian options.
This well-established and friendly hotel is just metres from the Red Sea’s coral reef, it also has a swimming pool, private beach and beautiful views over the Gulf of Aqaba to the mountains of Saudi Arabia. The hotel also offers a great restaurant (Egyptian and European menus), an arisha (sun-shelter) bar overlooking the sea and an Arabian area for serious chilling out.
The Coral Coast has it’s own highly-qualified masseur, Yoga teachers and a notable dive centre for scuba diving and snorkelling in some of the world’s best dive sites and coral reefs. Free wifi, security staff and emergency access to medics are also available.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, away from the main town of Dahab, with shops, services and bars nearby.

Sunset Camel Trek & Bedouin Starlit Dinner As the sun sets, we take a jeep to meet our camels and enjoy a gentle trek to our campsite in the mountains above Dahab. The freshly-prepared Bedouin dinner is served around the campfire under the magnificient star-filled sky. No previous camel-riding experience necessary. £30.00 GBP per person
Mt. Sinai – Overnight camp and Sunrise Summit Ascent For those opting to climb Mount Sinai and camp overnight on the mountain, the ascent begins in the afternoon with a botanical walk via the ancient pilgrimage paths and chapels, taking in the breathtaking mountain scenery as we climb to our Bedoiun eco-camp three-quarters of the way up the mountain (5,600 ft). Basic camp facilities include an eco loo and separate sleeping quarters. An early night follows a campfire supper under the stars in preparation for a pre-dawn climb to the summit (7,500 ft) as the sun rises. We spend time at the summit in rest and contemplation before making the descent to the monastery. Please note this option must be confirmed in advance when making th holiday booking and replaces the overnight stay in the Monastery Guesthouse. Reasonable fitness and agility necessary. Snorkelling trip (optional, beginners/all levels) This half-day trip to one of the safest and richest parts of the reef is an ideal introduction to snorkelling. Accompanied by our qualified instructor, we spend an unforgettable few hours in the warm, clear waters at the Southern Oasis site, observing the fanatstic life of the protected coral reef. All equipment can be hired beforehand with a wide range of sizes and expert fitting advice from Fantasea Divers - the highly recommended dive centre based at the hotel. Showers, loos and bars facilites are adjecent to the beach. £25.00 GBP per person (equipment hire extra but very reasonably priced).
